As the countdown continues we’ve hit a few milestones, the house is up for rent, packing has begun and we had our yellow fever vaccinations (ouch).
Today as I cleared the SD card on the digital camera ready to fill it with new photos and memories, I came across some photos from Eurotrip 2015 and honestly, I can’t believe it was 18 months ago.
This photo is from our first day in London and it particularly struck a chord.
We must have spend at least an hour soaking in the view from Westminster Bridge looking back at Southbank, the London Eye and the iconic Big Ben.
We were in awe and will always remember how excited we were for the weeks ahead. It is saddening to think, what was such a fond memory for us, was less so for the victims of the Westminster Bridge attack .
When we return to London later this year, we’ll be thinking of the victims when we cross the bridge. May they rest in peace.
